busy, busy, busy day.
tomorrow my four day weekend/spring break vacation/girls road trip starts and i.cannot.wait.
i had a chiropractor appointment this morning and got some pretty encouraging news. he told me my neck was looking about 75% better. PTL<3 <3 God is so good. and im starting to feel the improvement as well. so incredibly thankful.
i got my last bit of shopping for the trip done.
i got the mexican chicken lasagna and chicken salad made. brownies baked. bags packed (well kinda).
and i still havent finished that darn paper...im ready to just give up on it.
its spring break for goodness sake! i shouldnt even haveto be doing homework. ugh.
anyway,...i've got a few last minute things to do before we leave in the morning but i am so freakin excited. AHHH!
i'll be uploading [cell phone] pictures on my facebook the whole time and i'll try to make sure i post every night to keep yall updated for all your nosey people reading this blog!! ;) haha

todays to do was a mile long...but i got everything checked off. #score
some of which included:
doing laundry
taking the kids to their orthodontist appointment
dropping my brother off at the golf course
running a bunch of errands in town for my trip (2 more days!!!!!!)
writing a paper (or should i say staring at a blank word document for hours)
making supper
getting things ready for mom and dad to get home.
overall it was a good day. and add the fact that i drove around down with the windows down and sunroof open made it a really good day. ;) it was so nice out.

65.

today i got pretty much nothing on my 'to-do' list checked off

and i feel like i ran in circles all day. so unproductive. i was supposed to write a paper and do homework and somehow i'm still where i started. :/

dad went to Nashville for a business trip this afternoon and mom decided to go with him so she could visit her parents. they'll be back late tomorrow night.

so its just us kids...and i get to be mom ;)

taco bell for supper? that'd be a yes.

we had a guest preacher for church this morning, it really good.
my favorite statement was what my dad said before sunday school...
"each of us are as close to God as we choose to be"
such a true statement. it is our CHOICE. <3
tonight i visited a friend of mines church. i really liked it and we had some really interesting discussions. after church my sister and i decided to run to the dairy barn (our seasonal, very popular, ice cream place) for our first shake of the year. it was so good ;)

63.

today was my first lazy-nothing-to-do-saturday in a long time. i loved it.
we had prayer walk at the high school this morning and nothing to do for the rest of the day until youth group tonight. :)
and youth group tonight was really good. we started a series on wisdom and advice that the elderly people want to pass on to the young people.
the series is currently unnamed. but im excited about it. :)
after our bible study we had a blast playing "i've never" and even added our own twist to it so it was "i've never/i have". we learned a lot of random stuff about each other for sure. some super funny, some awkward, and some a little embarrassing. haha
ended the night by staying up til 1am watching psych with my brother and sister.

62.

today we have had severe thunderstorms and tornadoes.
personally we dont have any damage, but our area and the surrounding areas got hit pretty hard. we got hit by that tornado last april and people were finally getting things back to normal only to get hit again. my heart goes out to them.
we've had some major lightning going on too. its so pretty.
i love storms so much, just not when tornadoes are involved. it kinda scares me.
we had a pretty big break between the first bad storm and the second though.
so i spent a lot of the afternoon sitting on the porch swing. i love the way it feels and smells just after & just before a big thunderstorm.
we lost power for a little while this evening when a big tree limb fell from one of our trees and took out the power line, but they were super quick about getting it up and running again.
now im sitting here, everyone else in bed, listening to the pouring rain and watching the lightning. :)

pretty pretty day...makes me happy.
i stop by gab & sharon's on my way home from school and talked with them for a while :) also spent some time with my cassi-girl.
ran some errands with mom and the siblings this evening
and ended the night with super emotional american idol -they told the top 13 tonight.
i saw some of the people i liked a lot leave, but some stayed.

also, on a side note...i'm really liking the songs over you-miranda lambert & for you-keith urban currently! :)
