this is hard for me. not only do i hate people seeing me without makeup, i hate taking pictures of myself without it. i know, dumbbbbbbb. but this is day 2 with no make up. bc im just that lazy. ;) just needed to say that.
late last night i was watching the storm and i saw the lightning strike right outside the window. turns out it hit a pine tree. it was pretty cool to watch.
went shopping tonight for a couple birthday presents. found this nail polish while i was shopping and fell in love with the color [pacific blue]...had to get it. its amazing. i loooooove it. its almost a purple-blue color.

i was in bed for 90% of the day with bad head pain. 

i got to sleep to the sound of rain and thunder. it was so peaceful<3 we need the rain so much. PTL

after church tonight was drive in time for madagascar 3 with a bunch of friends. we had a blast. even though we had way to many people to actually watch the movie and hear and know what was happening. ;)

today was goodwills 50% off everything in the store day (first saturday of the month) so we got up early and got there when they opened at 8am. i wasnt as successful in shopping as i usually am, but i ended up with a pair of jeans, and 3 shirts.
breakfast at mcdonalds: hashbrowns and mocha frappe
prayer walk at the highschool.
then bible study tonight. we had some great discussion time and read Isaiah 40, Psalm 27-28 & 91.

after 15+ hours of no power, we had a bunch of dirty dishes needing washed.
today is national kissing day (who even came up with that???) so we watched The Notebook. perfect, aye? ;)
sleepover night. but have decided not to stay up too late bc we're getting up early.

HAPPY 4th of JULY!
one of my favorite holidays. mostly because its in the middle of summer. ;)
our town cancelled the firework show that they put on every year due to how dry everything is and the risk of a fire. its tradition to go to the huge park and with a ton of friends and practically the whole town to play football, ultimate frisbee, and watch the fireworks. but this year we had to break that tradition.
i suggested we all go to a baseball game. everyone liked the idea so thats what we ended up doing.
we left the house around noon, went to chili's for lunch, then to the best laser tag place ever..i won the first round and dad won the second. afterwards we did a little shopping, went to bass pro shop and then on to the smokies baseball game.
after the game {smokies lost 3-4,btw:((} they had a firework show. it was great. i love fireworks.

faith had some friends over today and they made cupcakes.
then work all day.
after work me and my sister went to some friends house to hang out for a little bit. we ended up looking at people of walmart .com for hours. hahaha so hilarious. some people are so ridiculous...like do they even look in the mirror?

i havent ridden my horse in way to longgggg :(((( so this evening me and my sister went riding together. it was the best.
also, bluebell coffee ice cream is my favorite. hands down. it is beyond amazing.<3

july firsttttttttt. happy first day of july. <3
after church this morning we met some friends at the local movie theater to go see Brave.
it was good. but to be absolutely, completely honest....i wasnt impressed. actually i kinda was disappointed.
i guess i kinda expected it to be as good/better than tangled. and it was nowhere near as good. which is understandable....tangled is hard to beat. lol
felt super lazy this afternoon after the movie, but decided to make myself start tackling some projects.
project #1: hang up picture frames and get my shelves organized.
project #2: deep clean my room and closet.

i watched The Vow for the first time last night. oh my goodness. i couldnt stop crying. haha i loved it though.
i got my hair super layered this morning. i was nervous (i hate getting my hair cut...so much) and she was like "you might want to close your eyes so you dont see the pieces falling to the ground. it might freak you out" haha
i really love it though...its lighter and it lays a lot better. you cant really tell from the picture.
tonight after bible study i proved to myself and the few people in the room that i could still do a cartwheel. haha be proud.

my head pain has been super bad lately. its been constant pain all week. i could definitely use yalls prayers.
tonight was volleyball/cookout at church.
not many people showed up bc of the 100+ degree temperatures.

last night i spent the night at a friends house. we watched a bunch of movies then i got the lovely idea to try a facial that i had seen on pinterest a while back.
me and my "good" ideas. the gelatine facial hurts like heck. oh my word...felt like she was ripping my face off.
then of course with my luck i had some kinda reaction to it and my face broke out in the rash and was super itchy. haha it was crazy. not doing that again.
i babysat tonight and Isaac made blackberry cobbler with some wild berries he'd picked. it was delicious with some caramel ice cream on top. ;)

this morning was gorgeous weather. perfect breeze and perfect temperatures. we decided to have our family devotions outside on the porch. it was wonderful.

spent the day reading my new book,Jenna's Cowboy (downloaded for free on my ipod. #score #thatswhatimtalkingabout) and im almost done with it!!! i love summer reading!! haha 

tonight was my brothers last baseball game. they won. and we picked up fresh peachessssssss on the way. they were amazing. 

watched the satellite go across the sky tonight. pretty cool.

my brother had his last golf tournament today so my mom and i tagged along.
i know absolutely n.o.t.h.i.n.g. about golf. nothingggggggg. but it was fun and i learned a lot. and the golf course was beautiful.
i wanted to go so that i could take some pictures of him golfing. which was interesting. its hard to photograph a sport when you know nothing about it. but i caught on (for the most part) and so it was good.

and i found the last few episodes of HEARTLAND (remember that??? yes, im still super addicted and obsessed. but they got deleted on youtube for awhile. but somebody re-uploaded them all) and it totally made my night. i was so excited. all i can say with how season 5 ended is {oh.my.goshhhhhh.}
cant wait for season 6....only three more months.

washed both trucks this morning with the help of my little sister and the radio playing country music.

spur-of-the-moment trip to the river this afternoon for a couple hours with some of my favorite girls.
we spent the day killing a snake with rocks, getting carried downstream by the current, and jumping off the bridge into the swimming hole.
it was the best. summer time is perfect.

me and my sister had dentist appointments this afternoon.
and will had a baseball game tonight. during the game though, me and kayla went shopping at target and goodwill (very successful!!) along with a quick stop at starbucks so i could introduce her to the new cookie crumble mocha ;)
she loved it, btw.

this morning we got up and got packed then went to visit one of moms dear friends.
had a good visit then headed to my grandpa's "shop" with lunch and to meet up with some more family.
after more mexican (yessssss. could totally eat mexican everyday) we went to my cousins house and swam in the creek.
before heading home we stopped by the most gorgeous lake for a quick swim.

got up this morning and went to another aunts house to swim and tan by the pool all morning while mom and will were at the tournament.
ordered pizza for lunch.
went shopping at the mall (didnt find what we were looking for) with my other aunt.
met my grandparents and siblings at the mexican restaurant for supper.
shopping again.
then back to my grandparents to hang out and watch what not to wear before heading back to Jodis for the night.

got to sleep in til 8. its sad when 8am is sleeping in....but man it felt good.
after Wills golf tournament we loaded the car and headed for my aunts house for a few days.
he has another one tomorrow morning close to where she lives.

church this morning, napping and tanning (at the same time!!!!) this afternoon,
church this afternoon, and then drive in tonight.
i love sundays!! sunday nights are carload night at the drive in so we get a big group together to go pretty much every week. this week was Snow White and the Huntsmen...we had a blast.

my help at the barn didnt show up this morning so i ended up having to do the entire barn by myself (which im not supposed to do bc of my neck/head) but i was so proud of myself for getting everything done in 2 hours. self record right there. ;) paying for it now though...
this afternoon was one of my friends weddings...it was beautiful. cant believe she is married!! <3
Lai was my wedding date<3 so thankful for her....afterwards we went to TSC (in our wedding outfits) like the true country girls we are and then to mcdonalds for coffee for me and cherry berry chiller for her.
youth group tonight was movie night...we watched Rio. first time seeing it--so funny!
then we played hide-n-seek in the dark.
