after the chiro and a little bit of homework
i sat down and listened to a couple sermons that i have on cd that i havent had time to listen to yet.
one was from my church from a service i had missed during our study of 1 cor.
the other was from my 'big sisters' church in KY on the biblical approach to God's will in our life. -and let me add it really spoke to me and i got SO much out of it. it was amazing and i feel so encouraged.
i even gathered my family together tonight (since we didnt go to church) and had them all listen to it as well.
went for a run in between the rain. it rained off and on all day.
then we had lotsa wind and thunderstorms tonight. LOVE.
american idol tonight...girls night. ahhhh...so.much.talent. <3 and again, i cant even vote. cant wait to see results tomorrow night though!!

59.

its been a looooooooong day.
we had an in class essay in comp2 today and it totally drained me. i hate in class papers. i like the pressure, but i need time to think about what i've written before i proof read and turn it in. i feel pretty good about it, but idk...we'll see i reckon!
in psych class we started our group presentations.
i'm kinda excited about it. haha
then i stood in the parking lot at school and talked to a friend i hadnt talked to in a while. we vented to each other. we both felt better afterwards.
came home for supper and then american idol.
man, i'll tell ya...i am so torn this year. there is so many amazing people...so much talent...and i love so many of them. i dont think i can even vote.

58.

felt somewhat better when i got up this morning.
went to my appointment and he seemed a little surprised at how bad i was.
i had to lay with heat on my neck for a while to loosen my muscles up a little so he could adjust me.
i'm feeling a lot better and im so thankful he was able to relieve some of the pressure.
i went for a short run this evening. it felt so good, but i have to be careful not to over do it. it was so pretty and sunshiny.
and i wore shorts....and realized how much i need some sun tan weather ;) haha
then tonight i made fried chicken for supper and a friend came over.
she brought tim hawkins newest dvd, so the house was filled with a bunch of laughter.
it was my first time to see it. yay. i love him.

 the birds were so loud...sounds like spring <3

church this morning.
took my brother to the golf course...it was such a gorgeous day!
but by about 5 my head pain was so bad i couldnt take it anymore.
i went to bed and missed church this evening.
the pain was so bad it made me sick.
i go to the chiropractor tomorrow, hopefully i'll get some relief.

slept in this morning and then cleaned the house.
spent allllllllll afternoon at the beauty shop getting my hair permed.
curly days are here again :) :)
i am super lazy when it comes to hair and curly is so darn easy. i love it, plus everyone says it fits me.
this evening i got a lot of my photo files on my computer organized, re-filed, and backed up. now they are OFF my computer and the memory isnt so full! ;)
ending the day with a movie "love begins". it was my first time to see it and i love it :)
love comes softly is one of my all time favorite movie series!!<3

had a really lazy, unproductive morning. havent had the best week and i am just ready for the weekend.
had study group this afternoon then spent the rest of the afternoon/evening/night with one of best friends...
talking and sharing our hearts with each other, laughing, planning our upcoming trip (only 2 more weeks!!!), eating at Zaxby's, and then more talking.
it was such a special time and i needed it so bad <3
now...let the weekend begin!

 nothing like a cold A&W to hit the spot.

today was incredibly gorgeous [70 degress] and i couldnt help but spend as much time as possible outdoors.
it was so windy and warm and sunny.
i went to the barn to hang out with the horses.
and then just sat outside doing absolutely nothing except soak up some sunshine and talk to God. <3 <3
it was beautiful...all of it.

i'm stressing out over am in-class paper next week in comp class.
dad always says "the worse part is dreading it", but i cant help it!! ah!!
it was super warm and windy today
then it rained,
then the sun came back out and it was warm, windy, and pretty again.
now we're supposed to get thunderstorms all night.
and i looooove thunderstorms. <3
they pick the top 24 on american idol tonight...whew, its getting emotional.

loooong day at school and then to a graduation meeting.
but on the upside i made a 94 on my first comp2 essay. so that was a relief.
i came outta school and my windshield wipes were up...
...nobody has fessed up yet. haha
thats what my family/friends and i always do when we go somewhere and see a friends car parked somewhere. ;)

this morning everyone was up getting ready for church and mom was like,
what would yall think if we went to meme's (her mom) house after sunday school?
(mom's parents live 3 hours away from us)
we decided it would be great, so we went to sunday school then came home changed clothes, grabbed a bite to eat, and jumped in the car.
mom's cousin was in for a visit and we wanted to all get together-mini family reunion- we had pizza, told stories about their childhood, laughed, and had a great time.
but i will say, 6 hours in the car when you have back/neck issues isnt too much fun. ;)
but worth it.

typical saturday: bible study with girls from church in the morning, youth group in the evening -- both of which were great.
plus...my aunt spent the night last night so she was here this morning.
which was a greeeeeat excuse to order lunch from our favorite chinese place in town.

adrie, kayla, and i discovered it is possible to fit 3 girls into my 2 seater truck.
but thats not to say its comfortable, by any means.
singing as loud as we can to the radio definitely made up for it though.

it was so very lovely...but it's not gonna last too long.
its supposed to rain tomorrow night and the high sunday is 40.
and my mom's sister came tonight for a visit :)

 the twins loooved this thing.

a little boy from church turned 4 today
and had a birthday party at the local bouncy house place.
technically i'm not supposed to be doing anything right now b/c of my back & neck,
but i couldnt resist.
i am such a kid when it comes to those bouncy things...i love them.
but i took it easy and didnt stay very long. ;)

cold and rainy = messy bun kinda day.

 back roads are my favorite. always my first choice.

valentines day isnt just for people with sweethearts,
its for everyone.
there is always somebody you can show love to. and honestly, who needs it more than the ones without a sweetheart...the ones broken and hurting.
its just a good excuse to show the ones you care about how much you care. a day to spread Christ's love. although everyday should be that kinda day! ;)
my valentines date was...... school. haha sitting at school alllll day in classes and doing homework. but hey, i made the best of it. it wasnt that bad. ;)
in between classes i looked up random, useless facts online. now i feel smarter. :P

i havent had a headache in FOUR days. thank you Lord.
my back is still bothering me a lot, but its easier to deal with than neck/head.
i'm so thankful for the relief!
Mom baked cupcakes yesterday and decorated them today. they were delicious.
they're saying its supposed to snow tonight. HA we'll see about that ;)

there is a first time for everything.
and today was 2 firsts ;)
~drove a tractor for the first time this morning
~rode a racking horse for the first time
i went to the stables to help muck stalls and do barn chores this morning (the barn is for sure one of my favoritest places to be....like ever.) b/c ms. sharon just had surgery and is unable to do barn chores. mr.gab had be back the tractor out of the barn (with the manure trailer hooked to it...it was pretty tricky) and take it through the field to spread the manure.
i was quite proud of myself. haha
then we went up to the house for a coffee/hot chocolate break and sat in the kitchen getting warm and talking. *love*
later i got to ride one of the horses mr. gab has been working with.
i had never rode a racking horse before so i was excited. it was so nice and smooth. nothing like i'm used to!! ;)
ended the night with youth group and we had some awesome heart-to-heart discussion time. i am so encouraged.
this weeks challenge is to BE HAPPY...

so i was happy to finally get that done and off my chest.

mom and dad went out on an early valentines day dinner date tonight.

so of course that means kids night ;)

i picked up pizza on my way home for dinner, made brownies and we watched 2 episodes of Monk on tv.

also started my weekend journal for psychology class. we have to record *everything* we do, everything we eat, everywhere we go, etc.

it actually feels really weird to write down eeeeevery little thing i do  in a day.

but its kinda interesting too.

Remembrance walk

and this is why i love small country towns...
tonight i attended a 'march' against bullying and in remembrance of the young girl who committed suicide yesterday.
the police department reported that there was over 2,000 people who came...now that is what a community is supposed to do! <3
the local news channel and the local newspaper were there, cars on the highway stopped and waited for us to pass (southern respect...love it!! for real. it was awesome!) and we had police escort.
i feel so incredibly BLESSED to have been part of such an awesome thing.
my heart is so broken for her family and friends. dear Lord, wrap them in your loving arms <3

 pretty sure my book bag doesnt help my back/neck at all ;)

i have a heavy heart tonight.
a young girl that goes to the local high school took her own life this morning.
it is such a tragic loss and my heart breaks for her family and friends.
i dont know them personally, but i know a ton of people who do.
i can not imagine how hard this must be for them.

let this be an eye opener...tell the ones you love how you feel every chance you get. tomorrow is never promised!!

super bowl sunday...
woke up still in a lot of pain so i went back to bed with a heating pad
and skipped sunday school and just went to the regular church service.
which was a bad idea. i was miserable the whole time.
came home, took pain killer, and went back to bed with the a heating pad for about 3.5 hours.
finally woke up feeling a little bit better. PTL!!!
helped mom get ready for our super bowl party...
during half time ms. dale, mom, and i watched marcel the shell, charlie bit me, and several blimey cow videos on youtube.
soooo many laughs! <3
